Scroll story with Lottie

The Scroll story section can play a Lottie animation that moves with the scroll: scroll down and it plays forward, scroll up and it rewinds.

1. Export your animation as a Lottie .json file, for example from After Effects with the Bodymovin plugin, or download one from LottieFiles.
2. In your admin, go to Content > Files and upload the file. Copy its link.
3. In the theme editor, select the scroll story and set Visual to Lottie.
4. Paste the link into Lottie file link and choose the Playback.
5. Add a Still image and an Animation description for shoppers who prefer reduced motion and for screen readers.

Tip

Keep the file small: under 1 MB is a good target. Animations with embedded photos are larger than pure vector animations.

The Lottie player only loads when the section comes into view, so it doesn’t slow down the rest of the page.
