Install Tandem

You can try Tandem for free before you buy. A trial theme can be customized but not published until you purchase it.

Add the theme

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
2. Click Visit Theme Store and search for Tandem, or open the Tandem listing directly.
3. Pick a preset (Tandem, Larder or Halden) and click Try theme, or Buy theme if you’re ready.
4. Tandem is added to your theme library as an unpublished theme.

Set it up

1. Click Customize next to Tandem to open the theme editor.
2. In Theme settings (the paint brush icon), add your logo, then set your colors and fonts.
3. Build your main menu and footer menu in Content > Menus, then select them in the Header and Footer.
4. Edit the home page sections. Use the template picker at the top of the editor to set up the product, collection and page templates.
5. Assign the ready-made page templates to your pages, such as page.contact and page.trade. See Pages.
6. Check your store on a phone with the device toggle at the top of the editor.

Publish

When you’re happy, go back to Online Store > Themes, click the … menu next to Tandem and choose Publish.
