Ratings and reviews

Show star ratings on product cards and product pages.

Tandem shows stars from the standard Shopify rating metafields, so it works with most review apps, including Judge.me, Okendo, Yotpo and Shopify’s Product Reviews.

  1. Install a review app and turn on its option to sync ratings to Shopify metafields (reviews.rating and reviews.rating_count).
  2. Turn on Show star rating in Theme settings > Motion and cards for product cards.
  3. Add the Rating block to the product page. Set Reviews section ID to the ID of the app’s review widget so clicking the stars scrolls to it.
  4. Add the app’s review widget to the product page as an App block or in the Apps section.

Without an app

Create two product metafields, Rating (custom.rating, type Rating) and Rating count (custom.rating_count, type Integer), and fill them in by hand. Products without a rating show no stars.
