Motion and cards
Scroll reveals and how product cards look and behave.
Open Online Store > Themes > Customize, then click the paint brush icon for Theme settings and choose Motion and cards.
Product cards appear in collections, search results, featured collections and recommendations, so these settings apply everywhere at once.
Tag a product badge:Bestseller or badge:New to show a label on its card when Show badges from tags is on. Sold out and Sale labels take priority.

| Reveal sections on scroll | On or off | Sections fade and rise in as they come into view. Turned off for shoppers who prefer reduced motion. |

| Blend white image backgrounds | On or off | Product shots on white take on the tile color from the color scheme. Best for cut-out product photos. |
| Quick add | On or off | A button on each card. Single-variant products go straight to the cart; others open a short size picker. |
| Show star rating | On or off | Reads the product rating your review app fills in (reviews.rating). Without an app, create a Rating metafield (custom.rating) and an Integer count (custom.rating_count) on products and fill them in. |
| Show subtitle | On or off | Shows the product’s Subtitle metafield (descriptors.subtitle, or custom.subtitle), such as a hero ingredient or the skin concern it’s for. |
| Show badges from tags | On or off | Add a tag like badge:Bestseller or badge:New to show it as a label on the card. Sold out and Sale labels take priority. |
